Current Trends/Thoughts
Right
now obviously the current trend is for everyone to get their Microsoft MCSE
2003 certification. That is quite the undertaking if you have not looked
over any material as of yet.
But, in today's market you have to keep yourself valuable and the only
way to do that is to continue doing things like:
- Reading all news pertaining to the Industry
- Continue working on your skill sets
- Continue taking certification exams
- Continue to update your resume (you never know)
If you are new in the I.T. Industry then maybe the MCSE 2003 track is not
for you. I would suggest someone just getting into the field to look at
taking a few Comptia test and get the feel for them. Plus, to me Comptia is
the most realistic of all companies. They have a nice track to take starting
with A+, Net+, etc..
